Chris Wicks

Above knee amputation in Oct '86 due to a car accident.  First interest was to continue snow skiing so I was on the Far West Disabled Ski Team for four years.  Started golfing in '88 then joined Western Amp Golf Assoc., where I'm now the President.  Still do some skiing but focus is now golfing.  Career: I'm a graduate civil engineer currently working for URS Corp in Sacramento.  I'm the program manager for facility improvements at Yosemite National Park.  Personal:  Divorced, with a 25 year old daughter who is a stage actress currently playing the lead role in the musical 'Wicked' in LA.  I love to travel and meet new people, like this bloke Gary Hart and his lovely bride Eleanor.  Golfing has provided the best opportunity to meet great people in great places - Canada, England, Scotland, Norway, Italy, Australia, and Mexico.
