NAME :- Terry Ramage
AGE : 62 (retired)
Above Elbow Amputee
I had a car accident in 1971 suffering nerve damage at the spine, but no visual damage. After various medical assessments I had the arm amputated in 1972.
Prior to the accident I played Rugby Union and continued to play until 1983 when a few mates retired and took up golf. I played golf spasmodically until 1992 when I started playing every week.
I represented Australia in Standing Volleyball at the World Championships in Poland in 1998 and The Pan American Championships at Montreal in 1999.
I was a keen water skier, including barefoot skiing, but the body is not willing any more.
Golf is now my passion and I play at least twice a week.
My golf handicap is currently 16.
