We are currently living at the Sandhurst Golf & Residential Estate in Melbourne, and we will be relocating to the Greg Norman Development “Settlers Run” a short distance away in the not too distant future.
Occupation: Warranty Manager for a Metropolitan BMW Dealership in Victoria.
My amputation was due to a Motorcycle Accident in June 1989, where a car did a RH turn into me which resulted in a broken femur and crushed lower leg.
I have been playing golf for the past 8 years and play off 23, my wife and I play at least once a week during in winter, and more so in summer.
Golf Achievements:My playing partner and I were the Winners of the Inaugural, “Australia Day Trophy” at our home Golf Club “ Sandhurst”.
I have competed in 2 Amputee Association Tournaments; The 2007 Australian Amputee Open where I was the Net Leader on Day 1 with a “68”, and I finished in 3rd Place in the Above Knee Section.
I also played at the Inaugural Vic Open at Tirhatuan Park where I was playing well on the 1st day at least to be the Net Leader.
