Awarded the Centenary Medal in 2003 for services to the community

Now actively involved in the media as co-host with K.G. Cunningham, of Australia’s highest rating sports/drive programme on 5AA; an Advertiser columnist; and a football commentator for Channel 7.

Has had extensive involvement in the new car retail industry as a dealer principal of successful Mitsubishi and Toyota dealerships, and is currently a non - executive director of Cornes Toyota and Graham Cornes Used Cars, part of the publicly listed ADTRANS group.

Graham served in Vietnam with the 7 th Battalion of the Royal Australian Regiment in 1970, and is still active in several Veterans’ groups. He is patron of the Vietnam Veteran’s Motorcycle Club.

He was the Chairman of the management committee of Foundation Daw Park, at the Repatriation Hospital Daw Park, for 6 years, and is now the Patron of that charity.

Has also an interest in music and plays very low profile rhythm guitar with the 5AA Rock ‘n Roll Allstars.

He is married to Nicole, and they have two daughters: Amy and Charlize. Graham also has two sons, Chad and Kane who play AFL football with Port Adelaide.
